Dr. Ashley Linden-Carmichael was quoted in Men’s Health about her work published in Alcohol & Alcoholism that examined latent classes of individuals based on alcohol use disorder symptoms and how these classes vary across ages 18 to 65. Alcohol use disorder looks different at each age and is marked by different risk factors — “Some people think that everything’s OK as long as alcohol isn’t affecting relationships or finances, and that isn’t necessarily true.”
